چکیده

At present, thermal storage is considered as one of the key technologies to alleviate problem instability and intermittence for renewable energy. Due relatively high latent heat, heat by molten salt a potential technology. Because restriction different thermophysical parameters, application has many technical obstacles. So, it an urgent work find better mixed formula with comprehensive properties. In this paper, we selected halogen salts (NaCl, NaF) alkali (NaOH) prepare binary salts. From results, NaCl-NaOH, NaCl:NaOH=1:9 maximum value 301.2J/g. The initial melting temperature about 200°C. With increase mass ratio NaCl, termination increases firstly then decreases. For NaF-NaOH, NaF:NaOH=1:9 199.5J/g, temperatures are 265°C 380°C, repectively. NaCl-NaOH NaF-NaOH decreased

Mhd Effects on Heat Transfer in a Molten Salt Blanket

Heat transfer in closed channel flows of molten salts (MS)s, such as FLiBe or FLiNaBe, has been considered under specific reactor conditions. MHD effects have been accessed for two blanket concepts: self-cooled MS blanket, and dual-coolant MS blanket. The effect of heat transfer degradation due to turbulence reduction by a magnetic field in the First Wall channels of the selfcooled blanket was ...

Specific heat capacity of molten salt-based alumina nanofluid

There is no consensus on the effect of nanoparticle (NP) addition on the specific heat capacity (SHC) of fluids. In addition, the predictions from the existing model have a large discrepancy from the measured SHCs in nanofluids. We show that the SHC of the molten salt-based alumina nanofluid decreases with reducing particle size and increasing particle concentration. The NP size-dependent SHC i...

Experimental Investigation in Pool Boiling Heat Transfer of Pure/Binary Mixtures and Heat Transfer Correlations

Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficient have been experimentally measured on a horizontal rod heater for various liquid binary mixtures. Measurements are based on more than three hundred data points on a wide range of concentrations and heat fluxes. In this investigation, it has been confirmed that the heat transfer coefficient in boiling solutions are regularly less than those in p...

Molten-salt Reactor Chemistry

This document summarizes the large program of chemical research and development which led to selection of fuel and coolant compositions for the Molten-Salt Reactor Experiment (MSRE) and for subsequent reactors of this type. Chemical behavior of the LiF-BeFrZrFrUF4 fuel mixture and behavior of fission products during power operation of MSRE are presented. A discussion of the chemical reactions w...
